SmartPAM

SmartPAM is Quiet-Oceans’ real-time passive acoustic monitoring solution, designed for flexible deployment and immediate operational awareness.

It continuously measures underwater noise, detects marine mammals and other target species, and sends automatic alerts when predefined thresholds are exceeded.

SmartPAM is available in two deployment configurations to meet different operational needs:

SmartPAM Buoy

A fully autonomous, offshore buoy-based system designed for long-term and remote monitoring. It provides continuous, real-time acoustic data transmission, enabling operators to monitor noise levels and marine life presence directly from shore or offshore control centers.

SmartPam buoy caters to the needs of real-time monitoring in offshore wind farm construction and other offshore constructions.

SmartPAM Deck-Unit

SmartPam deck-unit is designed for real-time monitoring of offshore wind construction, port expansion et coastal construction. It is a compact and easily deployable system installed directly on vessel deck or fixed structures such as quays. It provides real-time monitoring during operations at sea, making it ideal for construction activities, vessel noise monitoring, and control of mitigation solution efficiency implemented.

Both configurations provide real-time spectrogram visualisation, automated alerts, and reporting tools, enabling faster decision-making, improved environmental compliance, and reduced operational risk.
